Registration Policy

Upon registration, you (“the Registrant” or “the Learner”) acknowledge and agree to the following:

 

  • You must register exactly as your name appears on your government-issued ID or passport.

  • A.S.T. is not responsible for spelling errors or incorrect information submitted during registration.

  • All courses must be paid in full at the time of registration.

  • A seat in a scheduled class is only reserved once full payment has been received.

  • The individual attending the course must be the same person who is registered. Identity verification may be required prior to course participation.

  • Failure to complete all required course hours will result in no training card or Certificate of Completion being issued.

  • Learners who miss a registered class session are responsible for scheduling a make-up class.

  • Replacement training cards issued due to loss or damage are subject to a $50.00 replacement fee.

  • No refunds are issued. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis at A.S.T.’s discretion.

  • A.S.T. reserves the right to reschedule or cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case learners will be offered a rescheduled date or credit.

Classroom Policy

To ensure a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment, all learners are expected to adhere to the following classroom policies:

 

  • Learners arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time may be denied entry and required to reschedule for another class date.

  • Learners must arrive prepared to participate, engage in discussions, read-alouds, quizzes, and any instructional activities presented by the Instructor.

  • The Instructor may verify learner identity prior to the start of class.

  • Cell phones and electronic devices must be silenced and put away during lectures and class activities.

  • Phone calls are not permitted inside the classroom; learners may step outside briefly if necessary.

  • Learners are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and safety-conscious manner at all times.

  • A.S.T. reserves the right to remove any learner whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or interferes with instruction. Removal for cause does not qualify for a refund.

  • Full participation is required to meet course objectives and completion standards.
