The OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Course trains workers and employers on recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. It includes information on workers’ rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint. This course gives you the specific steps and requirements you must meet to complete the OSHA 30 Outreach training program.
Following this OSHA 30 training course, the student should be able to:
Recognize what worker rights are protected under OSHA;
Recognize what responsibilities an employer has under OSHA;
Identify both major and minor construction hazards, and have knowledge on how to mitigate risks and avoid injuries or the possibility of death, among other topics
